GAUGUIN: One day I shall flee into the rainforest, on an island in Oceania, and I shall live there in ecstasy, in quietness and in art. Surrounded by a new family, far away from this European battle for money. There, in Tahiti, in the quietness of the beautiful tropical nights, I shall be able to listen to the sweet music of my heartbeat in loving harmony with the mysterious beings around me.
